Associate SCM

• Assist in material, component and all types of other procurements.
• Assist in processing Purchase Requisitions from Operational Departments to creating Purchase Orders in ERP
• Assist in PO processing and order fulfilment
• Assist in identifying new vendors, especially for critical items and getting them onboarded
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries, especially critical items
• Assist in Analyse supply chain material management data for trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist to Maintain accurate inventory, order, and delivery records.
• Assist in maintaining close Coordination with logistics for shipments
• Participate in initiatives to enhance supply chain material management efficiency

Manager SCM

• Lead the supply chain material management team
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to advise the leadership on all matters related to supply chain material management
• Possesses expert level knowledge in compliance and regulatory matters related to supply chain
• Strong Knowledge of supply chain documentation, especially related to import export
• Lead the SCM function in material, component and all types of other procurements.
• Lead the SCM function in ensuring processing of all approved Purchase Requisitions from Operational Departments for creation of Purchase Orders in ERP
• Lead SCM function in PO processing and order fulfilment
• Ensure effective Vendor Management by evaluating vendor performance related to cost, quality and timely delivery
• Mentor Material Management Team and ensuring there is close Coordination with suppliers for timely deliveries, especially critical items
• Analyse supply chain data for trends and cost-saving opportunities and recommending improvement measures to leadership
• Ensure accuracy in proper record maintenance for inventory, order, and delivery records.
• Ensure there is close coordination with logistics for shipments
• Lead / Participate in initiatives to enhance supply chain material management efficiency

Head SCM

Objectives :

• Provide dynamic leadership to the Supply Chain - Material Management (SCM) team
• Ensure that material reviews occur and actions are taken to order in a timely manner, appropriate quantities from AVL (Approved Vendor Lists) suppliers.
• Ensure that MRP (Material Requirements Planning) is kept up to date in respect of influencing variables such as lead times, minimum order quantities, safety stocks etc, in order that the correct activities are proposed.
• Ensure timely purchase requisitions, and convert same to firm purchase orders in line with agreed sanction levels for expenditure
• Escalate critical issues regarding out of stocks, delays to shipments, din PO (Purchase Order) process and report as necessary
• Support / contribute in vendor audit schedules regarding aspects of supplier performance and non conformance
• Ensure KPIs that measure the effectivity of the role regarding supplier lead time adherence, inventory valuation, supply cover etc
• Work with Global Supply Planner to address capacity constraints, Ops Directors to understand manufacturing disruptions, Commercial leads to avail of sales opportunities, re-sequencing material requirements on vendors as necessary
• Attend the appropriate material category SandOP meetings and contribute in terms of ability of material plans to meet agreed Supply Plans, producing alternate plans/options in the event of vendor supply disruptions
• Ensure relevant production order (shop orders) aligned to Supply Plans and agreed Plant manufacturing schedules
• Review production volumes, completion, timeliness, and report on same, co-ordinating supporting material through the production flow. Work closely with Plant management to alert on shortfalls, determine corrective actions
