Job Title: Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)Specialist to join our team in the plastics industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the QA process, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in quality control processes and a deep understanding of the plastics manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement SOPs for the QA process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to establish quality standards and procedures for new product development and manufacturing processes.
3. Conduct thorough quality inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to identify defects and non-conformities.
4. Create and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, testing data, and quality records.
5. Reviews blueprints and production diagrams to visualize layout and assembly procedures, locate critical references, determine parts and materials requirements, dimensions, and finish specifications.
6. Lead investigations into non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
7. Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of product quality.
8. Provide training and support to production and quality control personnel to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.
9. Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to quality control in the plastics industry.
10. Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with product development, manufacturing processes, or supply chain operations.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to quality control, processing, packaging, labeling, or claims handling.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor s degree / Diploma in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Proven experience in quality control and assurance within the plastics industry is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and standards relevant to the plastics manufacturing industry.
