Assistant Treasury Manager(Raz Job/ 2)

As a Assistant Treasury Manager candidate will support the company’s treasury operations across the DRC.

This role involves cash management, liquidity planning, risk assessment, and financial analysis to ensure the efficient allocation and utilization of financial resources.

Key Responsibilities:  Cash Management: Monitoring daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity for operations.

Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting. o Banking Relationships: Assist in maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Support negotiations for favorable terms and conditions for banking facilities. o Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate risks. Assist in implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Prepare reports on cash flow, working capital, and treasury metrics. 

Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies regarding treasury activities. Assist in preparing documentation for audits.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within treasury operations. o Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Finance, Operations, and Sales, to gather data and insights relevant to treasury activities.

Qualifications:

o Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CTP) is a plus. 

Experience: 5 - 8 years of experience in treasury, finance, or a related field, preferably within the beverages or FMCG industry.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. o Proficiency in financial modeling and cash management tools. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to work independently and in a team environment. o

Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards in Africa. Competencies Required o Attention to detail and accuracy. o
