SAP Basis Project Manager(RARR Job 5223)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Project Manager to lead and oversee SAP Basis projects, ensuring successful delivery across planning, execution, and support phases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration, project management, and stakeholder communication, with the ability to manage complex landscapes and drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP Basis projects, including planning, execution, and post-go-live support.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (SAP functional, infrastructure, security, and third-party vendors).

• Manage SAP system landscapes, upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.

• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, security compliance, and performance optimization.

• Create and maintain project documentation including project plans, timelines, status reports, and risk logs.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients/stakeholders during the project lifecycle.

• Identify risks/issues proactively and implement mitigation strategies.

• Oversee SAP Basis team members and provide guidance and support as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8 to 12 years of experience in SAP Basis administration and project management.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations (on-premise and/or cloud).

• Good knowledge of SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and NetWeaver platforms.

• Proven experience in managing SAP projects with on-time and on-budget delivery.

• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, Transport Management System (TMS), and system performance tuning.

• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and change management.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

• PMP / Prince2 certification (preferred).

• Experience with public cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP) SAP deployments is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• SAP certifications are a plus.
