SAP Archiving & Document Management Specialist(RARR Job 5240)

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Archiving & Document Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective design, implementation, and operation of SAP Archiving solutions and Document Management systems such as Vendor Invoice Management (VIM). This role requires close collaboration with the SAP Archiving Product Owner, Functional Owners, and Business Stakeholders to deliver scalable and compliant archiving strategies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the design and implementation of SAP Data Archiving and Document Archiving solutions across modules and systems.
• Ensure robust operations of existing SAP Archiving and SAP Document Management platforms, including OpenText and Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
• Collaborate with SAP Archiving Product Owner to manage and deliver Archiving-related projects in alignment with business needs and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with Functional Owners and Business Teams to identify archiving requirements and provide suitable solutions.
• Ensure archiving strategy aligns with organizational data retention policies, legal, and audit compliance.
• Monitor system performance, storage optimization, and ensure operational stability of archiving solutions.
• Provide end-user training and documentation for implemented archiving processes.
• Participate in SAP audits, risk assessments, and reporting activities related to data lifecycle management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7–12 years of relevant experience in SAP Archiving and Document Management.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Data Archiving, SAP ILM, and OpenText Archive Server.
• Expertise in Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and integration with SAP systems.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environment.
• Experience working on end-to-end SAP archiving implementations.
• Strong understanding of compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements related to data retention and archiving.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certification in Data Archiving or Document Management.
• Experience in working in a global delivery model.
• Prior experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
