Scrum Master(P4)(RARR Job 4372)

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Change Agent with a passion for supporting teams to transform their behaviours toward an agile environment.
• Facilitate Scrum processes and events enabling team maturity.
• Create an agile mindset with focus on agile values and principles leading with transparency, inspection, and adaptation resulting in delivery of high value increments which meet the Definition of Done.
• Leverage performance data to drive outcomes with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Enable teams through servant leadership skills to develop sprint goals, robust product backlogs, and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in program level agile ceremonies to include dependency mapping, release planning and scope alignment across Product teams representing your scrum team(s).
• Ensure risk and compliance goals are met through enablement of high code quality, robust backlogs and reduction of technical debt.
• Enable the removal of impediments to the Scrum Team s progress.
• Facilitate communication and partnership inside and outside the team to include stakeholder engagement.
• Protect the team from distractions allowing for focus to meet sprint and program commitments.
• Promote self-organization and cross-functionality of the team coaching each role to enable high performance of the team.
• Support training, and coach the team in its agile adoption.

Qualifications:

• Mindset consistent with Scrum core values: openness, courage, respect, focus and commitment.
• Demonstrated understanding of lean agile values and principles including the 3-5-3 structure of scrum.
• 4+ years working in an agile environment as a development team member, Scrum Master or Product Owner
• 3+ years experience in the Scrum Master role of distributed Agile team, tech domain preferred.
• Expert in facilitation, problem solving and influencing outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in value driven development (requirements management, prototyping, hypothesis driven development, usability testing).
• Demonstrated knowledge of common practices to manage risk from risk identification through mitigation and monitoring.
• Expert knowledge of agile tool suites including Atlassian, Agility Health Radar, MS Teams or similar agile management tooling.
• Scrum Master and Agile Certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformation with knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other scaling frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of technical engineering best practices including test driven development, continuous integration, DevOps.

Education:

Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience.
