SAP ABAP Tech Lead(RARR Job 5188)

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with over 6 years of experience in ABAP development, specifically with a strong focus on SAP FI modules such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Fixed Assets (FA). The ideal candidate should have experience across the RICEFW components and be capable of supporting, designing, and developing robust SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ABAP programs and custom enhancements within SAP FI modules (AR, AP, GL, FA).

• Work with RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) components to deliver scalable SAP solutions.

• Design, code, test, and modify SAP applications to meet specific business requirements.

• Provide support to end-users through issue resolution and troubleshooting procedures.

• Conduct usability testing and quality assurance checks before deploying updates.

• Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.

• Analyze, debug, and troubleshoot existing ABAP programs to ensure system performance and data integrity.

• Offer training and guidance to end-users on newly developed or updated SAP solutions.

• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and documentation best practices.

• Utilize and support ABAP Proxies for integration-related development (where applicable).

Required Skills

• 6+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.

• Strong knowledge and development experience in SAP FI modules – AR, AP, GL, FA.

• Hands-on experience in developing and managing RICEFW objects.

• Experience with ABAP Proxies and integration scenarios.

• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

• Good understanding of SAP development lifecycle and change management processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Basic understanding of functional configurations in SAP FI.

• Experience in supporting system upgrades and data migrations.
