GCP Data Engineer(RARR Job 4164)

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team, proficient in BigQuery, Dataflow, and Airflow, with expertise in either Python or Java programming languages. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines for our organization s data infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and efficient data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Airflow.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in data pipelines and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Google BigQuery, Dataflow, and Airflow.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
• Experience with cloud based data technologies and services, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of data modelling concepts and data warehousing principles.
• Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer).
