Boomi MDH Administrator(RARR Job 5153)

• Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal, both).

• Be ready to work in extended shifts to provide overlap until 1:30 PM EST.

• Have the required certification and hands-on experience.

Resource should be able to perform the below activities:

Create and Configure Repositories

• Define the data domains: Define the data domains to be managed by MDH, including name, description, and data model.

• Define Data Models: Design the structure of the data within the repository, including data types, fields, golden record fields, source fields, quarantine fields, default values, and relationships between data.

• Configure Repository Settings: Adjust global settings like data retention policies, ID resolution, and data stewardship settings.

• Configure Matching Rules: Design matching rules to identify duplicates across source systems, including match fields, algorithms, and thresholds.

• Configure Stewardship Workflow: Define the process for resolving duplicates and managing data quality issues, including roles, permissions, and escalation paths.

• Add and Configure Sources: Define source systems contributing data to MDH, including connection details, entity types, and update frequencies.

• Define Source Properties: Configure source-specific properties such as data format, encoding, and error handling.

User and Role Management

• Create and Manage User Accounts: Add new users and assign appropriate access.

• Define and Assign Roles: Create and assign roles with specific permissions (e.g., data steward, administrator, read-only user).

Data Cleansing and Validation

• Implement Data Cleansing Rules: Standardize, normalize, and correct data before loading into MDH.

• Validate Data: Implement validation rules to ensure data meets defined standards and constraints.

• Handle Data Exceptions: Design processes for handling exceptions such as missing values or invalid formats.

Data Stewardship and Governance

• Duplicate Resolution

  • Monitor potential duplicates as per matching rules.

  • Review and resolve duplicates by merging or linking records.

  • Implement workflow for duplicate resolution including roles and escalation.

Data Quality Monitoring

• Monitor Data Quality Metrics: Track metrics like completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

• Identify Data Quality Issues: Proactively detect and investigate data quality problems.

• Implement Corrective Actions: Update cleansing or validation rules to resolve quality issues.

Stewardship Tasks

• Handle Data Change Requests: Process requests submitted by users or systems.

• Approve Data Changes: Review and approve data changes to ensure integrity.

• Manage Data Relationships: Maintain and update data entity relationships.

Monitoring and Maintenance

• Monitor System Performance: Ensure MDH operates optimally (track CPU, memory, disk).

• Monitor Integration Processes: Identify and resolve integration performance issues.

• Monitor Error Logs: Review logs to identify and resolve system errors.

Maintenance Tasks

• Perform Backups: Regularly back up MDH data and configuration.

• Optimize System Performance: Tune parameters for improved performance.

• Review and Update Configurations: Align configurations with business needs.

• Archive Old Data: Implement data archiving strategy for growth management.
