Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support network security infrastructure, including Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Cisco ASA, VPN technologies, and Azure security services.
• Configure and optimize firewall rules, security policies, and network access control lists (ACLs) to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and security risks.
• Monitor network traffic, analyze security events, and investigate incidents to detect and respond to security breaches in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement secure connectivity solutions for remote users, branch offices, and cloud services.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, security policies, and procedures, to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of network security infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role, with expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Cisco ASA, VPN technologies, and Azure security.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security principles.
• In-depth knowledge of firewall administration, VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL/TLS), and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Experience with Azure security services, such as Azure Firewall, Azure Virtual Network, and Azure Security Center.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and security tools, such as Wireshark, Snort, Splunk, or similar.
• Industry certifications, such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex network security issues and provide effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
