Database SME(RARR Job 1134)

Manage and Support MS SQL & Oracle Server databases as Subject Matter Expert. Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. • Should have experience of working in HA environment (Oracle RAC, SQL Server Clustering & AlwaysON) • Installation and configuration of Oracle ASM, RAC, SQL Server Clustering & AlwaysON • Database Upgrade from Oracle 10g/11g/12c - 19C • Should work as Domain expert supporting and training L1 engineers • Work towards DBA process improvements and should able to write scripts for automation for regular task by L1. • Database Load analysis and issue fixing. • Ensuring DR is in sync with DC. • DR failover/switchover as and when advised • Performance Analysis and performance tuning. • Backup and Restore Management using utilities like RMAN • Patch Management. • Issue analysis and fixing the same with help from OEM support. • Database monitoring job automation. Any other DBA activities in order to fix any issues to make sure 24x7 uptime of databases (both DR and DC).
