Testing Engineer (Peo Job No 87)

Key Role Expectations:

1. Conduct thorough testing and validation of EV chargers, inverters, and power electronics components to ensure performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.

2. Develop and maintain automated test setups for hardware and software validation, leveraging scripting tools like LabVIEW and Python and MATLAB.

3. Assist Plant in creating ICT and FCT fixtures for chargers and Inverters.

4. Perform functional, thermal, mechanical and stress testing while analysing system failures to identify root causes and optimize designs.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, hardware, and firmware engineers, for seamless system integration and validation.

6. Identifies hardware and software faults through electrical and functional testing. Works with design engineers to improve product reliability.

7. Works closely with certification bodies for regulatory compliance (e.g., CE, UL, IEC, ISO).

8. Ensures the system meets specifications and standards

9. Utilize advanced testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power meters to validate system robustness.

10. Develops test plans, procedures, and reports for product qualification.

11. Performs system-level validation, including real-world simulations and long-term reliability tests.
