SAP SIOP Consultant – Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an SAP SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) Consultant to support and optimize demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate should have expertise in SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning), PP (Production Planning), or MM (Materials Management) and a solid understanding of forecasting, demand planning, and supply optimization. This role requires collaboration with business teams to enhance planning accuracy, improve inventory control, and ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize demand planning, sales forecasting, inventory management, and operations planning within SAP.
• Work with business teams to understand planning needs and configure SAP solutions accordingly.
• Ensure seamless integration with SAP MM, PP, SD, and Finance modules for efficient supply chain operations.
• Support and troubleshoot issues related to forecasting, capacity planning, and material requirements planning (MRP).
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and optimization of inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with supply chain regulations and financial controls.
• Provide training and support to key users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams for system enhancements and issue resolution.
• Participate in SAP upgrades, rollouts, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in SAP SIOP, IBP, PP, MM, or related supply chain modules.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, sales forecasting, inventory optimization, and production planning.
• Experience in cross-functional integration with MM, PP, SD, and Finance modules.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferred) or ECC.
• Ability to analyze supply chain data and recommend planning improvements.
• Exposure to SAP APO, IBP, or advanced planning tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP IBP, PP, or MM Certification is a plus.
• Experience with advanced analytics, demand sensing, or machine learning in supply chain planning.
• Knowledge of supplier collaboration and procurement planning tools.
• Background in supply chain, logistics, or production management is a plus.
