Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer/Entrust/Hemachandran

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer to design, build, and optimize CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge of Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick), a solid understanding of business processes, and hands-on experience implementing complex pricing and quoting functionalities in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce CPQ solutions, including product configurations, pricing rules, discount schedules, quote templates, and approval processes.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reusable components and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and CPQ-specific customizations.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices.
• Create and maintain CPQ data models, workflows, and validation rules to enforce business logic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, operations, IT) to streamline the quote-to-cash process.
• Integrate Salesforce CPQ with third-party systems (e.g., ERP, billing platforms) via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Perform data migration, sandbox refreshes, and deployment activities using SFDX, ANT, or other tools.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers or admins on CPQ development.
• Support UAT, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements post-go-live

Required Qualifications:

• 7–12 years of overall experience in Salesforce development.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ
• Strong command of CPQ functionalities, including:
  • Product Bundling
  • Pricing and Discount Schedules
  • Advanced Approvals
  • Quote Templates
  • Contracting and Renewals
• Expertise in Apex, SOQL, JavaScript, LWC, and Salesforce data architecture.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, Gearset, Copado, Jenkins).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification (highly preferred).
• Salesforce Platform Developer I (required); Platform Developer II (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Salesforce Billing, Revenue Cloud, or integration with tools like Zuora, NetSuite, or SAP.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Shield, Experience Cloud, or other advanced features.
• Prior work on global rollouts or multi-org environments.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and declarative automation tools.
