SAP Consultant (CO)(NCS/Job/ 438)

Key Responsibilities:

SAP CO Configuration & Implementation:

• Configure and maintain SAP CO sub-modules, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), Product Costing (PC), and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
• Design and implement cost allocation methods, overhead assessments, and activity-based costing.
• Optimize cost object controlling for manufacturing, services, and other industries.
• Set up and configure product costing processes, including cost estimates, work-in-progress (WIP), and variance analysis.

Financial Planning & Reporting:

• Support planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities within SAP CO.
• Develop and customize CO reports using SAP standard reporting tools and SAP Fiori.
• Assist business users in analyzing cost structures and profitability trends.
• Work on month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate cost allocations and reconciliations.

Integration & Process Optimization:

• Ensure seamless integration between SAP CO and SAP FI, MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Work on cost object controlling for production orders, service orders, and projects.
• Collaborate with finance and business teams to streamline cost reporting and analysis.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and automation.

Support & Documentation:

• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP CO-related issues in production and test environments.
• Document functional designs, process flows, and test cases.
• Train end-users on SAP CO functionalities and best practices.
• Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, and rollouts.
