Job Title: Mobile Automation Engineer 

 

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a talented Mobile Automation Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The primary purpose of this role is to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for mobile applications. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in NodeJS, JavaScript, WebDriverIO, Mocha/Chai, and other tools to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate automation testing into our continuous integration and delivery (CICD) processes.

 

Experience:

- 5-10 years of experience in mobile automation testing.

- Strong background in using NodeJS, JavaScript, WebDriverIO, Mocha/Chai, Assertions, and Page Objects.

- Experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD).

- Familiarity with Docker and CICD pipelines for automated testing.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using WebDriverIO and Mocha/Chai.

- Implement and manage test frameworks using Page Objects and Cucumber.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and integration into CICD pipelines.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.

- Document test procedures and results, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.

 

Must Have:

- 5-6 years of experience in mobile automation testing.

- Proficiency in NodeJS, JavaScript, WebDriverIO, Mocha/Chai, Assertions, and Page Objects.

- Experience with Cucumber for BDD.

- Understanding of Docker and CICD tools for automated testing.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

 

Nice to Have:

- Experience with other automation testing tools and frameworks.

- Knowledge of performance and security testing for mobile applications.

- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.

- Relevant certifications in software testing or mobile automation.
