Senior Engineer – Payments(NCS/Job/ 197)

Purpose of the Role

The Senior Engineer focuses on implementing very complex/complex features in the product backlog. This role is also responsible for coaching junior engineers with engineering best practices

Essential Experience

Business

Good exposure to payments order management, payment execution and clearing and settlement functions. Should have been involved in prior engineering of payment systems for large financial institutions.

Should be conversant with ISO20022 standards

Should be aware of different payment types and differences in processing of these payment types

Technical

• 7+ years of strong experience on Java with considerable knowledge of JVM internals
• 3+ years of experience in various spring projects: Springboot, Spring Cache, Spring State Machine, Spring Cloud Stream, Spring Cloud
• Strong implementation level knowledge of SOLID principles and object-oriented design
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS and messaging platforms
• Experience building Event driven applications using industry standard patterns like DDD, Clean/Hexagonal architectures, CQRS is preferred
• Methods and delivery - DevOps processes and experience. Strong understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery
