What you’ll bring
● 13+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or related roles, with at least 4+ years in a leadership position
● Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling & data warehousing solutions.
● Good understanding and track record of building Distributed services & systems in Data Management space
● Experience in conducting Build vs. Buy analysis to determine the best-fit solutions for data management, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI assessment, and evaluation of long-term scalability is strong plus
● Analytical and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving & decision-making capabilities.
● Experience with advanced data technologies, such as data virtualization, data cataloging, and AI-driven data management tools.
● Good understanding of Devops & Cloud environments
● Proficiency with data management platforms & ETL tools (Databricks, Cloudera, ODC etc)
● Familiarity with data governance processes and practices
● Proven ability to lead & develop teams, manage cross-functional relationships & communicate effectively with stakeholders.
● Experience managing & strategising multiple projects, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
