Job Description

Contract Executive

Role Overview:

The Contract Executive will support the Contract Management team in ensuring effective lifecycle management of contracts, managing vendor and company obligations, and providing critical inputs for informed decision-making. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, vendors, and legal experts to ensure smooth execution and compliance with contract terms.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Contract Management team in overseeing contracts from award to closure.
  2. Manage and update key contract documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  3. Maintain a detailed list of contractual obligations from both vendor and company sides.
  4. Actively track and monitor obligation fulfillment to mitigate risks of non-compliance.
  5. Handle vetting, verification, and processing of Bank Guarantees (BGs), ensuring issuance, amendment, and release as per contract terms.
  6. Assist in vetting contract language to ensure clarity, enforceability, and risk mitigation.
  7. Analyze and interpret contract clauses.
  8. Provide actionable inputs to the Contract Management team for effective decision-making.
  9. Work closely with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and User Departments for contract execution and compliance.
  10. Assist the Contract Manager in preparing and maintaining Management Information System (MIS) reports.
  11. Support the Contract Management team in other tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred in relevant fields).
  • Contract Knowledge: Understanding of contract management, drafting, and review.
  • Certifications: Certification/training in Contract Management is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience: 4–7 years of experience in contract management, drafting, reviewing, or related areas.
  • Bank Guarantee Familiarity: Experience with Bank Guarantee (BG) processes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
  • Time Management: Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Adaptability: Quick learning and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
