Contract Executive
Role Overview:
The Contract Executive will support the Contract Management team in ensuring effective lifecycle management of contracts, managing vendor and company obligations, and providing critical inputs for informed decision-making. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, vendors, and legal experts to ensure smooth execution and compliance with contract terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Contract Management team in overseeing contracts from award to closure.
- Manage and update key contract documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a detailed list of contractual obligations from both vendor and company sides.
- Actively track and monitor obligation fulfillment to mitigate risks of non-compliance.
- Handle vetting, verification, and processing of Bank Guarantees (BGs), ensuring issuance, amendment, and release as per contract terms.
- Assist in vetting contract language to ensure clarity, enforceability, and risk mitigation.
- Analyze and interpret contract clauses.
- Provide actionable inputs to the Contract Management team for effective decision-making.
- Work closely with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and User Departments for contract execution and compliance.
- Assist the Contract Manager in preparing and maintaining Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Support the Contract Management team in other tasks and projects as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred in relevant fields).
- Contract Knowledge: Understanding of contract management, drafting, and review.
- Certifications: Certification/training in Contract Management is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: 4–7 years of experience in contract management, drafting, reviewing, or related areas.
- Bank Guarantee Familiarity: Experience with Bank Guarantee (BG) processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management tools.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
- Time Management: Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle high-pressure situations.
- Adaptability: Quick learning and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
