About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience in Node.js and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial systems. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable solutions that bridge the gap between operational technology (OT) and IT in manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, SCADA, PLCs) with enterprise applications.
• Implement microservices architectures and RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Develop solutions that align with manufacturing requirements like real-time data processing, IoT integration, and edge computing.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Support deployment activities and troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with DevOps and manufacturing engineers.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and design decisions for complex manufacturing applications.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate manufacturing processes into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience in Java development (Spring Boot framework preferred).
• 2+ years experience working with Node.js (Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks).
• Proven experience in the manufacturing domain – familiarity with MES, SCADA, PLCs, OPC-UA, or similar industrial systems.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Experience in integrating industrial systems with IT solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
