WebdriverIO Analyst(Job No 303)

We are seeking a skilled WebdriverIO Automation Engineer to join our team. As a WebdriverIO Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts using WebdriverIO for our web applications. You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using WebdriverIO to test web applications across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test scenarios, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and identify and report defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in test automation and web technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO and JavaScript for writing automated test scripts.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with testing frameworks and libraries such as Mocha, Jasmine, or Jest.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress).
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub).
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Knowledge of performance testing and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
