Position Title:- Team Manager

Job Profile Responsible for the overall operations of a group of team members designated to specific sets of projects, with the aim of achieving timeliness in delivery and the required quality levels by utilizing efficiently the available physical and human resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Sets the groups goals and objectives in conjunction with the general goals and objectives set by the Senior Manager. Prepares, implements and monitors plans to ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved.
  • Oversees the smooth and successful launch of new projects, jobs or processes assigned to the group, ensuring that all critical are addressed. Monitors the project processing status of the group, ensuring all operational delays and problems that may adversely affect project quality and turnaround time are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Institutes measures to achieve optimum performance in efficiency, quality, profitability and utilization of resources in the group. Supervises the Team Members in initiating activities to continuously improve existing Production processes.
  • Ensures that all projects/tasks are properly assigned and distributed to capable Team Members, making sure that all specifications, delivery schedules and other important details are properly disseminated and understood.
  • Coordinates with support groups and other Stakeholders for the transition and/or day-to-day activities of projects/jobs/ procedures.
  • Initiates activities that foster teamwork and motivation in the group; and, intervenes and resolves conflicts if cannot be done at the lower levels. Also elevates issues to his/her manager if cannot be resolved at his level
