SAP IBP + SCM Consultant(Job No 1015)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SAP IBP Supply & Response Functional Consultant to support the design, implementation, and enhancement of SAP IBP Supply and Response functionalities. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Supply Planning, Response Management, and integration with S/4HANA or ECC. This role will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to ensure efficient and scalable supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements for IBP Supply & Response planning processes.

• Configure and implement IBP modules, primarily Supply Planning and Response & Supply.

• Lead or support blueprint workshops, solution design, prototyping, testing, training, and cutover activities.

• Design planning areas, key figures, planning levels, and attributes based on customer needs.

• Develop and support Heuristics-based, Optimizer-based, or finite capacity planning solutions.

• Integrate IBP with S/4HANA, ECC, or third-party systems using CPI-DS or SDI.

• Configure Supply Planning Master Data types (e.g., Locations, Products, Resources, Transportation Lanes).

• Enable what-if analysis, scenario planning, and simulation-based response planning.

• Provide guidance on Order-Based Planning (OBP) and its interaction with Response Planning.

• Create and maintain documentation including functional specs, user manuals, and training materials.

• Support users during UAT and post-go-live hypercare.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Supply Chain solutions with at least 2 full-cycle SAP IBP implementations.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of IBP Supply, Response & Supply, and Order-Based Planning.

• Experience with IBP configuration, including time profiles, master data types, planning views, and templates.

• Proficiency with Excel Add-In, Fiori apps, and Analytics within IBP.

• Understanding of integration between IBP and SAP ECC/S4 via CPI-DS/SDI.

• Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.

• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• SAP IBP Certification in Supply or Response.

• Exposure to Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, or Control Tower.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.

• Background in discrete manufacturing, CPG, pharma, or automotive industries.
