Job Skills

Proficient in DB2 and SQL query writing, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, REXX, CICS with relevant hands-on experience
Should be able to automate manual recurring tasks.
Proficient with analysis and research task.
Should be able to perform basic navigation in ISPF and use tools like File-aid for file operations proficiently.
Assist in root cause analysis exercises of reoccurring production issues and should be able to provide effective solutions.
Demonstrate proficiency with all tools (B92, Abend Aid, Xpeditor) and processes associated with the monitoring of the production environment.
Create and maintain system documentation. Document issues in the production environment, resolving the issue whenever possible and escalating if necessary.
Make process improvement suggestions and open to share and accept new ideas.
Batch-cycle support & related communication to users, application teams and other stakeholders about the status of any system outages, as needed.
Provide on-call support on weekday and weekend.
- Knowledge of Git, Github, IBM IDz, Jenkins, DBB (Dependency Based Build), Groovy scripting, Urbancode Deploy, Digital.ai is a huge plus.
