Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Calypso Developer with extensive migration experience and a fixed income trading background to join our team supporting the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Calypso, strong technical development skills, and experience leading migration projects within capital markets and fixed income trading environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, migration, and enhancement of the Calypso platform to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Design and implement solutions for system migration, including data mapping, transformation, and integration.
• Collaborate with traders, risk managers, and stakeholders to optimize trading workflows and system performance.
• Work on Fixed Income trading modules, ensuring efficient trade processing and risk management.
• Develop and optimize interfaces, workflows, APIs, and connectivity with third-party systems.
• Ensure system stability, performance tuning, and issue resolution for production environments.
• Guide and mentor junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in Calypso-based solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in Calypso development and implementation.
• Proven expertise in migration projects, including data transformation and integration strategies.
• Strong background in Fixed Income trading, including knowledge of bonds, derivatives, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Calypso APIs for customization and automation.
• Experience in performance tuning, system optimization, and debugging Calypso applications.
• Knowledge of capital markets, trading workflows, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced financial environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders across different teams.
