To monitor and manage Network Services (Data/Voice/ATM) & IT network infrastructure of the Bank in order to Ensure the timely delivery of network services, support & trouble shooting LAN & WAN problems for day-to- day operations of the Bank as well as timely completion of projects as per organization expansion plans & objectives.
- Research, design and present feasible and effective network solutions to IT management
- Monitor & manage Banks corporate data / voice network services, in terms of providing support for day-to- day operations, troubleshooting activities, monitoring networks & handling new Branches & Expansion projects.
- Configure, troubleshoot, support & maintenance of Cisco routers & switches
- Liaise with telecom service provider Etisalat & DU for new communication links
- Manage corporate WAN links and branch LAN connectivity
- Structure cabling for new branches and back office expansions
- Expansion, maintenance & troubleshoot Data Centre & DR site network services.
- Maintain & compliance to the procedures and policies.
- Capacity Planning, active components procurements & Inventory control
- Ability to design and execute new branch setup projects and expansion and renovation projects.
- Ability to liaise with service provider Etisalat & DU for Communication link installations.
- Ability to troubleshoot WAN/LAN issues and handling network tools.
- Ability to Negotiate with vendors for Structure cabling price for new projects, renovations & expansions.
- Effective Inventory Control to reuse existing equipment's.
- Complete all the project within the approved IT Budget
