GCP Devops Engineer(Job No 839)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while ensuring smooth CI/CD pipeline workflows, infrastructure automation, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other automation tools.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes (GKE).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources, ensuring system performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement security best practices for cloud and DevOps workflows.
• Manage version control and issue tracking using Jira.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance deployment efficiency and system reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system observability using monitoring tools.

Mandatory Skills:

✅ DevOps principles and best practices
✅ Kubernetes (GKE) for container orchestration
✅ Jenkins for CI/CD automation
✅ CI/CD Pipelines (continuous integration & continuous deployment)
✅ Jira for issue tracking and project management
✅ GCP Cloud (Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Ansible / Configuration management tools
• Scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Monitoring & Logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Stackdriver)
• Experience with security best practices in cloud environments
