Role Overview:

As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying computer vision models and solutions that can drive insights and add value to our products and services. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our computer vision solutions are scalable, efficient, and integrated seamlessly into our systems. Your expertise in computer vision algorithms, data preprocessing, and model deployment will be crucial in driving our data strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Development: Design, develop, and implement computer vision models to solve complex business problems.
• Data Preprocessing: Collect, clean, and preprocess image and video data to ensure high-quality input for computer vision models.
• Algorithm Selection: Research and select appropriate computer vision algorithms and tools based on the problem at hand.
• Model Training and Evaluation: Train, validate, and tune models to achieve optimal performance and accuracy.
• Deployment: Deploy computer vision models into production environments and ensure they are scalable and efficient.
• Monitoring: Monitor model performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency over time.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate computer vision solutions into existing systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest computer vision tools, techniques, and best practices to continually improve model performance.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for computer vision models, processes, and best practices.
• Compliance: Ensure data handling practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Computer Vision Engineer or in a similar role within a dynamic environment.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of computer vision and data science tools, including proficiency in:
• Python or R
• Computer vision frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras)
• Deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Data preprocessing libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
• SQL
• Data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn)
• Algorithm Knowledge: In-depth understanding of computer vision algorithms such as object detection, image segmentation, facial recognition, and optical character recognition (OCR).
• Big Data: Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
• Deployment Tools: Familiarity with model deployment tools and platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, Azure ML).
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate.
• Advanced Skills: Experience with advanced computer vision techniques such as generative adversarial networks (GANs), 3D vision, and video analysis.
• Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the specific industry domain to provide more relevant insights.
