Roles & Responsibilities:

Exp level: 10-12 years

• Primary objective would be to establish and lead agile processes within our Data Management and Reporting team.
• Will be responsible for training the team in agile methodologies to ensure we are all well-versed and aligned in our approach.
• Additionally, the Scrum Master will play a crucial role in setting up DevOps practices to support our agile workflows and processes.
• Provides leadership, direction and mentorship to members of the team.
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks, Kanban & other Agile methodologies
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
• Lead and manage the DevOps team, ensuring they work together efficiently and effectively to achieve common goals.
• Implement and promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to constantly evaluate and refine their processes, tools, and methods.
• Guide the team in defining, tracking, and meeting the goals and objectives of each project, ensuring everyone is aligned and working towards the same vision.
• Ensure that team members consistently follow industry best practices and maintain high standards of quality in their work.
• Continuously refine and adapt the team's agile and DevOps methodologies to optimize their effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, helping them build their skills and grow as professionals.

Certifications:

• Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Agile Scrum Master (ASM)      
• Scrum Master Certified (SCM)
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) / Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Technical Role and Responsibilities:

• Strong Knowledge of empirical process control and system thinking
• Strong Knowledge of Lean software development, such as Kanban
• Experience of changing organizational, team, department mind-sets, culture and structure
• Certified Scrum Master with at least 2 years’ experience in a Scrum Master or equivalent software delivery role
• Working knowledge of Scrum, XP and Kanban will be an added advantage
• Well versed with Azure DevOps, Jira, Kanban boards for requirements management & scrum process
