Your Responsibilities

1. Design & Documentation: Create compact, precise machine designs based on customer requirements including cycle time , Production output within the given layout.

Preparation of ISO-standard design documents, BOMs, SOPs(Exploded view with Drawing nos with detailed explanation)

Detailed design calculations ( motor, gear box – torque & speed calculations, selection of LM rails, Ball screws, belt , couplings, pulleys & pneumatics components).

Must have experience in BOM comparison, analysis and parts replacement

2. Assembly & Troubleshooting: Lead machine assembly with given manpower, troubleshoot issues, and implement design changes based on assembly findings.

3. Project Coordination: Independently manage tasks, report progress, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for smooth project execution.

4. Material & Process Expertise: Understand material selection, heat treatment, surface finishing, and machining also have the ability to integrate OEM products and ensure design feasibility.

5. Risk & Quality Management: Perform risk assessments (DFMEA), ensure compliance with manufacturing processes and quality standards, and create detailed GD&T drawings.

Essential Skills

• · Proficient in 3d modelling & 2d detailing (GD&T) using SolidWorks & AutoCAD
• · Must have experience in BOM comparison, analysis and parts replacement
• · Proficient in design calculations
• · Engineering & Project development skills ,Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  
   

Your Profile

• · University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automation Engineering.
• · 4-8 years work experience in a mechanical design role ideally in an automation company.
• · Skilled use of various pneumatic components, motors and various sensors and creation of BOM.
• Have a strong knowledge in GD&T, sheet metal design, surface treatment and material properties
• · Understanding of machining technology and the properties of common materials
• · Strong hands-on mentality with the ability to work on machine installations, debugging and proposing design changes
• · Document all design files. Output complete BOM for suppliers
• · Lead machine assembly, make design change during machine test if necessary
• · Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
• · English skills. Chinese is a plus though not mandatory
