Senior Manager/ Manager – Product Engineering (Hea Job/ 1)

Responsibilities:

• Product Development:
•  Translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications and plans.
•  Lead the design, development, and testing of new cookware products and features.
•  Ensure products meet performance, durability, and safety standards.
• Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions. 
• Development & prove out of new product. 
• Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Conduct product testing and analysis to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Ensure products meet all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential problems and implement preventative measures.

Team Leadership:

• Hire, train, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance and support to team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Project Control:

•  Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
•  Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and launch

Technical Expertise:

• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the cookware industry.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product quality and manufacturability.

Skill Sets

• New Product Development, Product Design, SAP and QMS etc.

Educational Background:

BE / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Equivalent.
