Engineering Manager(Hea Job/ 8)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage, coordinate and develop activities related to Project Management such as planning, kick off, management, tracking and closure of projects.

Manage customer-facing project milestones, deliverables, and communication
Provides cross-functional coordination and team communications
Provide management level visibility and reporting on project status and risk
Serve as point of contact for project associated status and information
Utilize Operation information systems and update them regularly.
Effectively use project management tools (spreadsheets, dashboards, etc)
Coordinate with resource managers for inputs (WBS & Estimates)
Translate them into MPP & maintain baselines
Coordinate with resource managers for collecting weekly status
Update MPP actuals
Generate weekly reports as required by the project
Make initial analysis on KPIs status (effort variance, schedule variance)

Support Project Manager on need basis for
Release management (ensuring OPLs closed, MPP tasks completion status is 100%)
Audits and Assessments (ensuring data integrity)
Risk Management (adding corresponding work packages in MPP and tracking)
Skills

Basic understanding of:

1.Project Management (MPP knowledge is a MUST, effort, duration, understanding of KPIs as effort variance, schedule variance, critical path, generating reports from mpp, Risk Management - adding work packages in mpp as part of Risk M, maintaining and following upon Open Issue List)

2.Software development lifecycle, Agile / Waterfall methodology

3. Process (reviews, change management, baselines, release..)

4. Version management

1. Good in communication (written and verbal)
