Role Overview
The HR Specialist will be the primary HR business partner to operations and production functions. Responsibilities include full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and facilitating a positive employee experience on the shop floor as well as in support functions.
Key Responsibilities
🛠️ Recruitment & Onboarding
Execute end-to-end hiring for manufacturing and support roles (production, quality, engineering, logistics, admin).
Plan and implement recruitment campaigns and campus/institution tie‑ups.
Manage onboarding, orientation, inductions, and probation closure processes.
📋 Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as point-of-contact for employee issues, grievances, performance & disciplinary cases.
Facilitate regular employee engagement sessions, safety meetings, and feedback dialogues.
Promote initiatives for staff motivation, employee morale, retention programs and “voice of workforce” forums.
📈 Performance Management
Coordinate with management for KPI- and goal-setting, appraisals, promotions, and salary reviews.
Drive training needs identification for shop-floor and support staff and ensure smooth execution.
📌 Policy, Compliance & Statutory
Administer HR policies, handbooks, and ensure alignment with company norms.
Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws (Factories Act, Industrial Employment Act, Provident Fund, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
Manage inspections, audits, returns, and related employee documentation.
🏭 HR Operations & Analytics
Maintain accurate records: HRIS/ERP, attendance, leaves, time‑and‑motion data, shift rosters.
Prepare regular HR dashboards and metrics reports.
Support HR budgeting (recruitment, training, welfare/clubs).
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, or equivalent. MBA (HR) preferred but optional.
Experience: At least 5 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or heavy industry; max. 10 years.
Core Skills:
Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
Recruitment & selection across technical and support roles.
Proficiency in employee relations and grievance handling.
Familiarity with HR systems (ERP, MIS, HRIS).
Competence in performance management and training needs assessment.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Fluency in Hindi and preferably working-level English.

Hands‑on and flexible attitude; ability to work shifts or on-site as required.
