Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws, including Income Tax, TDS, GST, and other applicable taxes.
Review and payment of GST for each state and TDS on monthly basis within due dates.
Preparation, review and submission of timely and accurate GST and TDS returns within due date on monthly and quarterly basis.
Payment of advance tax and filing of annual income tax return.
Oversee and ensure completion of income tax audit.
Oversee and ensure completion of GST audit in addition to minimizing GST input credit loss.
Handle tax assessments, scrutiny cases, and tax litigation, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors as needed.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the business and implementing necessary changes.
Manage reconciliation of TDS receivable and GST reconciliation between books and GST portal.
Review deferred tax calculations in line with financial reporting standards.
Maintain maker-checker documentation for audit purposes.
