Assistant Manager – Process Engineering

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Process Engineering with 4–6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/engineering setup. The candidate will be responsible for improving process efficiency, driving productivity, and implementing process optimization and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, design, and improve manufacturing processes for increased efficiency and quality.

• Implement lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams for process improvements.

• Analyze process data and perform root cause analysis for production issues.

• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence.

• Support new product development (NPD) and prototype manufacturing.

• Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising on product quality.

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or related field.

• 4–6 years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment (automotive, sheet metal, or similar preferred).

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement techniques.

• Hands-on experience with process mapping, time studies, and productivity improvement.

• Proficient in tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design software (optional but preferred).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
