Job Description:
- Conduct regular market visits to electrical retail shops to understand market trends, brand visibility, and retailer expectations.
- Execute marketing activities such as POP placement, shop branding, wall paintings, danglers, and visual merchandising.
- Strengthen brand presence at retail counters and ensure effective display of marketing materials.
- Develop and implement retail marketing strategies to improve product visibility and market penetration.
- Gather competitor insights including schemes, promotions, and branding activities.
- Support execution of retail events, electrician meets, and product awareness programs.
- Coordinate with retailers and influencers for brand promotion.
- Collect feedback on product performance, customer preferences, and competitor offerings.
- Maintain MIS reports on market coverage, branding activities, and retail mapping.
- Ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives within budget.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory.
OEM Sales Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with OEM clients to drive business growth.
- Identify and onboard new OEM partners within the electrical / housing wires segment.
- Coordinate with internal teams to customize solutions as per OEM requirements.
- Track OEM sales pipeline, conversions, and ensure achievement of assigned targets.
- Provide market insights and customer requirements to enhance product positioning in OEM segment.
Key Requirements:
- 2–7 years of experience in marketing, trade marketing, branding, or retail market development.
- Any Degree / Diploma
- Experience in OEM sales is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Chennai market.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Strong exposure to retail sales and dealer/distributor network.
- Good understanding of electrical retail market and counter dynamics.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Self-driven with strong field execution capability.
