Job Summary
We’re building next-generation autonomous drone systems and are looking for a Robotics Engineer who enjoys solving challenging real-world problems. This role involves testing, debugging, and improving autonomous systems operating in complex indoor environments. You will work across software, hardware, and field testing to develop reliable and robust drone autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Test, debug, and improve the autonomy stack for an indoor drone platform.
- Develop and optimize navigation, localization, SLAM, and path-planning systems for GPS-denied environments.
- Configure, develop, and tune systems using PX4, MAVLink, and ROS2.
- Process and analyze 3D LiDAR data to enhance perception and autonomy performance.
- Investigate flight issues using logs, simulations, experiments, and hands-on testing.
- Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineering teams to deliver reliable autonomous solutions.
- Improve system stability, mission success rates, and overall flight performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience with PX4 and MAVLink.
- Hands-on expertise in ROS2.
- Experience with SLAM, 3D LiDAR processing, navigation systems, and drone path planning.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills with experience troubleshooting real-world robotic systems.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of drone hardware and onboard systems.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools.
- Experience with Docker and containerized development workflows.
- Previous experience with autonomous robots, sensor fusion, or real-world robotics deployments.
