Position Overview
The role holder will be responsible for overseeing the complete bid management process for government contracts for Celerityx.
This role requires expertise in identifying, analysing, and responding to government tenders while coordinating with internal departments to ensure compliant and competitive bid submissions.
The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in government tendering within the Telecom, ISP, or IT industry and have a proven track record of successfully managing public sector bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and identify relevant government tenders through GeM, CPPP and various State Government procurement portals.
- Analyze tender documents including scope of work, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, commercial terms and compliance requirements.
- Develop bid strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational capabilities.
- Lead end-to-end bid preparation including:
- Technical Proposal
- Commercial Proposal
- Compliance Documentation
- Pricing Strategy
- Business Case Preparation
- Obtain necessary internal approvals from Commercial, Finance, Legal and Technical teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders for complete bid documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of bids with all statutory documents, certifications and digital signatures.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, clarification sessions and customer interactions.
- Maintain MIS and documentation of all submitted bids and their status.
- Conduct post-bid analysis and prepare management reports.
- Track changes in Government procurement policies, telecom regulations and tender guidelines.
- Ensure complete confidentiality and compliance throughout the bidding process.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Government Tendering/Bid Management.
- Experience in Telecom, ISP, Networking or IT Services industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of GeM, CPPP and State Government procurement portals.
- Hands-on experience in government e-tendering processes.
- Excellent documentation, analytical and proposal writing skills.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling Telecom/ISP Government contracts.
- Knowledge of TRAI regulations and telecom licensing.
- Understanding of Public Sector procurement processes.
- Familiarity with Digital Signature Certificates (DSC).
- Exposure to Bid Management Software and Tender Management tools.
- Strong commercial acumen and pricing strategy experience.
