Sr. Snowflake Engineer- Matillion (RARR Job 6492)

Job Description

• Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Snowflake with Matillion for ETL and data pipeline management.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance within Snowflake environments.
• Analyze complex business and data requirements and translate them into scalable Snowflake solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Snowflake performance to ensure high system efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features, enhancements, and industry best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and enhancement of Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using Matillion for data ingestion and transformation.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members on Snowflake and Matillion best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and governance policies.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to support deployment automation and CI/CD for Snowflake solutions.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization of Snowflake environments to meet business SLAs.
