Spotfire Administrator (RARR Job 6409)

We are seeking an experienced Spotfire Administrator to manage maintain, and optimize the TIBCO Spotfire analytics platform. The role involves platform administration, performance tuning, security management, and supporting business users across analytics and reporting functions

Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration

• Install, configure, and upgrade TIBCO Spotfire Server, Web Player, and Automation Services
• Manage Spotfire environments: Dev, Test, Prod
• Monitor system health uptime and performance

User  Security Management

• Administer user access roles and permissions
• Integrate with Active Directory, LDAP.
• Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies

Performance  Optimization

• Troubleshoot performance issues, reports, queries, dashboards.
• Optimize in memory data models and data loading
• Monitor logs and usage patterns to improve efficiency

Support  Maintenance

• Provide L2L3 support for Spotfire issues
• Handle incident management via tools ServiceNowJIRA
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions

Deployment  Migration

• Promote reports between environments
• Support migrations, upgrades, and patching activities
• Work on automation using Spotfire APIs  scripts.

Data Integration  Connectivity

• Configure and maintain connections to databases: Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle etc
• Manage information links and data sources
• Ensure data refresh schedules and automation jobs

Collaboration  Governance

• Work with BI developers and business users for enhancements
• Maintain documentation for platform and processes
• Participate in governance SLA tracking and audits

Required Skills
Technical Skills

• Strong experience in TIBCO Spotfire Administration
• Knowledge of Spotfire Architecture Server Node Manager Web Player
• Experience with Linux and Windows server administration
• Database knowledge: SQL data modeling
• Familiarity with Automation Services IronPython scripting
• Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud AzureAWS environments
• Knowledge of CICD pipelines for BI deployments
• Exposure to Power BI  other BI tools
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
