Job Skills

5+ years Snowflake experience with strong grasp of architecture (compute–storage separation, micro-partitions, virtual warehouses, RBAC) and features (Snowpipe, Streams/Tasks, Dynamic Tables).
Proficient in SQL and Python/Snowpark to build and optimize ELT pipelines, tune queries, and implement governance, security, and cost/performance controls.
Expert in JSON/VARIANT handling: parsing, validation, LATERAL FLATTEN, normalization, and schema evolution for analytics-ready datasets.
Practical exposure to Cortex AI; built Streamlit in Snowflake apps or leveraged Snowflake Intelligence/Cortex Analyst within data/analytics workflows.
Strong semantic modeling (star/snowflake schemas, conformed dimensions, metrics layer); nice to have Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM domain knowledge.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable dbt models across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, aligning with Medallion architecture principles.
Implement transformation logic, data quality checks, and SCD handling using dbt, ensuring consistency with business and tax reporting requirements.
Collaborate with data architects and engineers to enforce data modeling standards, lineage, and governance controls within the warehouse.
Optimize dbt pipelines for performance and reliability, supporting CI/CD deployment, documentation, and production readiness.
