Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Architecture and Solution Design
- Work with business users, functional analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design scalable data architectures and data models on the Snowflake platform.
- Define technical architecture, integration patterns, and development standards.
- Review technical designs and guide the development team during implementation.
- Resolve technical issues, clarify requirements, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
Data Engineering and Platform Development
- Design and build data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration solutions using Snowflake.
- Implement scalable and efficient data models to support analytics and reporting.
- Use Snowflake features such as Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Data Sharing, and Zero Copy Cloning, Snowpipe, Security, performance optimization.
- Develop templates, frameworks, and scripts to automate common development tasks.
- Support modernization of existing data platforms to Snowflake.
Snowflake Cortex and AI Solutions
- Build solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI and LLM capabilities.
- Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) using generative AI within Snowflake.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines, LLM-powered applications, and AI-enabled data solutions.
Client Engagement and Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with clients to understand their data challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Lead technical discussions with business stakeholders and project teams.
- Collaborate with onsite teams, analysts, and cross-functional teams during project delivery.
Solution Development and Go-To-Market Support
- Build POCs, accelerators, and reusable solutions that can be used across client engagements.
- Support Go-To-Market initiatives by creating industry solutions and demo use cases.
- Work with sales and pre-sales teams to support client discussions and proposals.
Innovation and Knowledge Sharing
- Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and industry trends.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, technical blogs, and presentations & Mentor team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Analytics.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong experience in data architecture, data modelling, and data engineering.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud data platforms.
- Good understanding of Snowflake Features, Gen AI concepts and Snowflake Cortex AI.
- Experience building POCs and reusable data solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with clients, engineering teams, and sales teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams is preferred.
