ServiceNow ITOM Developer (RARR Job 5734)

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer to design, develop, implement, and support ServiceNow IT Operations Management modules. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, Service Mapping, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement solutions in ServiceNow ITOM modules including:

  • Discovery

  • Service Mapping

  • Event Management

  • Cloud Management / Orchestration (if applicable)

• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party monitoring/CMDB tools.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Maintain and optimize CI Classes, CI relationships, and CMDB health.

• Design and configure MID Servers and troubleshoot related connectivity issues.

• Develop automation workflows using Orchestration and Flow Designer (if required).

• Perform unit testing, fix defects, and support UAT and Go-Live.

• Prepare technical documentation, solution design, and SOPs.

• Ensure platform performance, security, and governance best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong focus on ITOM.

• Hands-on expertise with:

  • Discovery patterns

  • Service Mapping patterns

  • Event Rules / Alert Correlation

  • Integration using REST/SOAP

• Strong understanding of CMDB structure, relationships, reconciliation, and data governance.

• Experience with scripting:

  • JavaScript, GlideScript, AJAX, Script Includes, Business Rules

• Experience working with MID Servers and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB).
