ServiceNow Developer- ITAM (RARR Job 5735)

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience in the IT Asset Management (ITAM) module, including HAM (Hardware Asset Management) and/or SAM (Software Asset Management). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITAM modules (HAM, SAM).

• Implement workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, and integrations.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Maintain CMDB health and ensure asset lifecycle processes are aligned with ITAM standards.

• Configure asset workflows including procurement, receiving, inventory, deployment, and disposal.

• Develop ServiceNow integrations with external systems (e.g., SCCM, Intune, JAMF, Discovery tools).

• Perform defect resolution, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Create and maintain documentation including test plans, SOPs, process flows, and configuration guides.

• Ensure compliance with governance, data quality, and security standards.

• Partner with cross-functional teams including ITSM, CMDB, Finance, and Procurement teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of core ServiceNow development experience.

• Hands-on experience in HAM Pro / SAM Pro modules.

• Strong understanding of CMDB, asset lifecycle, and ITIL processes.

• Good knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, GlideAjax).

• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and integrations.

• Knowledge of Discovery, CI-class structure, and reconciliation processes.
