Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Performance Management & MIS
- Prepare monthly internal business performance reports
- Ensure high quality, accuracy, and consistency of MIS across plants & sales.
- Prepare presentations and dashboards for key reviews.
2. Budgeting, Planning & Financial Governance
- Annual Budgeting and Planning process for the SS Pipes & Tubes business, including compilation, validation, and management review.
- Monitor budget adherence, conduct budget vs. actual variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Compile actual cost trends and historical data to support robust budgeting assumptions.
- Develop reporting aligned to the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and track performance against ABP on a monthly basis.
- Prepare EBITDA analysis vs. ABP and drive catch-up plans in case of shortfalls.
3. Costing, Profitability & Manufacturing Excellence
- Consolidate cost information by product, segment, and plant to derive standard costing and pricing insights.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis for profitability.
- Structure costing for new products and track monthly cost variances versus standards.
- Prepare and publish a Monthly Manufacturing Excellence Report covering KPIs across production, quality, cost, and efficiency.
- Build organizational capability and awareness around cost management, control, and value improvement initiatives.
4. CAPEX Monitoring & Investment Governance
- Monitor CAPEX projects across plants against approved proposals, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct ageing analysis for small and large CAPEX, including justifications and status updates.
- Present CAPEX status, delays, and benefit realization reports
- Highlight risks related to delays, cost overruns, or benefit shortfalls and recommend mitigation actions.
6. Working Capital & Compliance
- Drive working capital optimization initiatives (inventory, receivables, payables).
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, policies, and statutory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
7. Digital Enablement & Business Systems
- Lead ideation and design of digital tools for effective analytics platforms.
- Define lead indicator KPIs to be tracked through digital tools and dashboards.
- Manage collation and analysis of data generated through digital platforms to support managerial decision-making.
- Resolve escalations related to functionality, adoption, and usage of digital tools.
- Oversee SAP master data governance and ensure effective use of SAP (especially FICO) for reporting and controls.

Systems & Technical Skills
- SAP with hands-on capability in FICO module
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with digital platforms, dashboards, and analytics tools
