Senior Electrical Design Engineer (PLC & EPLAN) (RARR Job 6209)

• Develop and review electrical system architecture for industrial machinery and welding equipment.
• Design electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and BOMs using EPLAN.
• Develop PLC control logic, I/O configuration, and automation concepts in line with system requirements.
• Coordinate with mechanical and hydraulic teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and control systems.
• Perform component selection (PLC, drives, sensors, protection devices, HMIs, etc.) based on technical and operational requirements.
• Support troubleshooting, testing, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety norms, and documentation practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers within the project team.

Mandatory Skills & Competencies
• Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming and control system design.
• Proficiency in EPLAN for electrical schematic development and documentation.
• Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, panel design, and field wiring practices.
• Ability to interpret system requirements and translate them into structured electrical designs.
• Experience in project coordination, milestone tracking, and delivery ownership.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
