SAP MDG Technical Consultant (RARR Job 6119)

We are hiring an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant with strong expertise in data modeling, process modeling, UI development, and integrations. The role involves working on end-to-end MDG implementations, enhancements, and support, including S/4HANA migration environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new features and enhancements in SAP MDG
• Build prototypes and technical solutions based on business requirements
• Work on end-to-end MDG implementations (Material / Customer / Vendor / Finance)
• Configure and manage MDG data modeling, process modeling, and UI modeling
• Define Change Request (CR) workflows and step configurations
• Support UAT, go-live, and hypercare phases
• Provide L2/L3 support and troubleshoot production issues
• Validate and review developments done by other team members
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specs

• Strong hands-on in:
  • MDG Configuration (Data, UI, Process Modeling)
  • ALE/IDocs, Data Replication Techniques
  • MDG Error Handling
• Integration & Development:
  • Web Services / SOA / IDocs
  • WebDynpro, NetWeaver
  • ABAP, ABAP OO, Reports
  • BADI, BRF+, FPM
  • SAP Workflow
• Tools:
  • LSMW / Migration Tools
• Experience with:
  • S/4HANA Migration Projects

Mandatory Hands-on Experience:

• MDG Implementation Projects (must have)
• Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling
• BADI development and custom enhancements
• Custom report development
• WebDynpro development
• ABAP classes & methods
• Integration via IDoc / Webservices (any one is fine)
