SAP EWM Lead Consultant (RARR Job 6155)

We are hiring an experienced SAP EWM Functional Lead to drive end-to-end warehouse transformation programs on SAP S/4HANA (HANA). This role involves solution design, team leadership, stakeholder management, and successful delivery of complex EWM implementations and rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Solution Design & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementations (Discover → Design → Build → Test → Deploy → Hypercare)
• Own solution architecture and functional design for warehouse processes
• Conduct Fit-Gap workshops, blueprinting, and process re-engineering
• Design scalable solutions for:
  • Inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations
  • Putaway, picking, packing, and replenishment strategies
  • Cross-docking, slotting, VAS, and labor management

🔹 Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor a team of EWM consultants (onshore/offshore)
• Act as primary client interface for business and IT stakeholders
• Drive decision-making, risk management, and escalation handling
• Ensure alignment with business goals and transformation roadmap

🔹 Integration & Architecture

• Drive integration of EWM with:
  • MM, SD, PP, TM, QM
• Work on Embedded & Decentral EWM architectures
• Collaborate with technical teams for:
  • WRICEF objects
  • Enhancements and custom developments

🔹 Governance & Quality

• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and S/4HANA standards
• Oversee:
  • SIT, UAT, cutover planning, go-live strategy
• Manage AMS/support transitions post go-live
• Drive continuous improvements and system optimization

Required Skills & Experience

• 9–13 years of SAP experience with a strong focus on SAP EWM
• Minimum 3–5 full lifecycle EWM implementations (S/4HANA preferred)
• Strong expertise in:
  • Warehouse structure & process configuration
  • Handling Units (HU), RF Framework, Warehouse Monitor
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Functional design, configuration (IMG)
  • Testing (SIT/UAT), documentation
• Proven experience in:
  • Leading teams and client engagements
  • Managing complex warehouse transformation programs

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making ability
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP EWM Certification
• Experience in Fiori apps / HANA optimization
• Exposure to automation (MFS, robotics, ASRS)
• Experience in global rollouts / template-based programs
