SAP CO Consultant (RARR Job 6249)

We are looking for an experienced SAP ERP SAP CO Consultant with strong expertise in Controlling processes, configuration, and business process analysis. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP CO functionalities including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver effective SAP solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and understand business requirements related to SAP CO processes
• Configure and customize SAP CO module based on business needs
• Work on:
  • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
  • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
  • Internal Orders
  • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Prepare functional specifications and use case documents
• Coordinate and support functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Prepare test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
• Provide support for financial reporting requirements
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP CO with other SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, and PP
• Conduct user training sessions and prepare user documentation
• Troubleshoot issues and provide production support
• Follow SAP best practices and industry standards
• Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and stay updated with emerging IS technologies and industry practices

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP CO module

• Strong business process analysis skills
• Experience in SAP CO configuration and customization
• Good understanding of financial controlling processes
• Experience in preparing:
  • Functional specifications
  • Use case documents
  • Test plans
  • UAT documentation
• Experience in integration with other SAP modules
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAP implementation/support projects
• Exposure to S/4HANA environment is preferred
• Knowledge of SAP best practices and process optimization

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
