Oracle EPM EPBCS Support Engineer (RARR Job 6190)

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EPM EPBCS Support Engineer with 6+ years of experience to provide application support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the timely resolution of incidents within the defined TAT. The candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud, specifically EPBCS, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle EPM EPBCS applications.
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents/service requests within defined TAT.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of EPM applications.
• Handle data load issues, business rules failures, and metadata-related problems.
• Support planning cycles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial processes.
• Work closely with business users to understand and resolve functional issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Manage user access, security, and roles within EPBCS.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and Oracle support when required.
• Maintain proper documentation for incidents, changes, and resolutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in Oracle EPM, with strong focus on EPBCS.
• Hands-on experience in EPBCS modules – Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Business Rules (Calc Manager)
  • Data Management (FDMEE/Data Integration)
  • Smart View
  • Metadata and Data Forms
• Experience in troubleshooting data load and calculation issues.
• Understanding of financial planning and reporting processes.
• Good knowledge of SQL and basic scripting.
• Experience working in support environments with strict SLA/TAT adherence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with other Oracle EPM modules (FCCS, ARCS, etc.).
• Exposure to automation using EPM Automate.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Ability to work in rotational shifts
